Description: A growing company with highly innovative products and an exciting future is seeking an Applications Engineer with component bonding experience.

Responsibilities:

• Collaborate with customers and field sales personnel on engineering projects
• Work on new product development and introduction
• Assist in convincing customers about the company’s products with technical explanations
• Provide technical training
• Write application notes and technical papers
• Perform root cause analysis to resolve customer issues

Requirements:

• BS in Material Science, Chemical Engineering or Chemistry
• 3 – 5 years of process engineering experience
• Good knowledge of thin film sputtering and target bonding technology
• Strong understanding of customers applications
• Good communication and presentation skills
• Up to 35% travel

Desired:

• Fluency in Japanese, Mandarin or Korean

Compensation: $65k - $85k base
