Description:A large technical manufacturing company is seeking an experienced continuous improvement expert to support their North American multi-site manufacturing operations.
Responsibilities:
- Champion the development of a continuous improvement culture in the company
- Bring organizational objectives into line with operational excellence initiatives to promote acceptance in all levels of the organization
- Train and develop the resources to achieve organizational objectives
- Plan and carry out all lean initiatives
- Analyze global manufacturing and recommend improvement measures
- Create and maintain a pool of operational excellence training materials and methodologies
- Coordinate training for each company location to achieve independent operational excellence
- Audit all company facilities and support all kaizen events
- Create and monitor all operational excellence budgets
- Foster channels of communication in support of operational excellence objectives
Requirements:
- Bachelor’s degree in a technical discipline
- Minimum of 7 years of continuous improvement working with multi-site facilities
- Extensive six sigma experience
- Extensive lean and continuous improvement experience in a manufacturing setting
- Thorough knowledge of kaizen initiatives
- Strong analytical and financial skills related to manufacturing costs
- Must be able to manage multi-site initiatives
- Must be able to develop and manage budgets
- Knowledge of Behavioral Based Safety
- 50% international travel
- Local Candidates Preferred
Desired:
- MBA
- Six sigma Blackbelt
Compensation: $105k - $110k plus bonus
