Skip is a 1993 graduate of North Carolina State University, having received a BA in Spanish Language & Literature. Upon graduation, he put those skills to work by joining Midway Airlines, a coast-to-coast domestic carrier, followed by Tradewinds Airlines, an international charter service. During his 4 years in this industry, he served as a Flight Attendant and was, more importantly, introduced to the field of recruiting. He recruited for virtually every operational position within each company with the exception of pilots.
Immediately following Tradewinds' decision to cease passenger service operations in 1999, Skip joined the recruiting staff of Netaport, Inc. With his professional niche well defined, he found tremendous success with only four clients, placing an average of 40 candidates in various positions per year for over 7 years. Netaport was recently acquired by a California company that required the Chapel Hill staff to relocate to their West Coast headquarters. Not wishing to leave the area, Skip joined Management Recruiters of Durham South in August of 2007.
Skip credits his success in the recruiting business to strong organizational skills, excellent work ethics, and a unique ability to understand his clients' needs and match qualified talent to the job requirements. Skip's goal is to quickly reach and/or exceed his former success with Netaport, but across a much broader range of industries.
