DIRECTOR OF TECHNICAL OPERATIONS – PERSONAL COMMUNICATIONS DIVISION     Position reported to the Vice President of Manufacturing, with primary responsibilities for managing: (1) the daily activities of 120 engineers, technicians and programmers within four departments, and (2) an operating budget of $10M and a $65M capital budget.

Position reported to the Vice President of Manufacturing.  Primary responsibilities included: (1) the creation of a technology center to improve the reliability of computer products, and (2) the implementation of new computer manufacturing techniques via automation and robotics.

SR. MANUFACTURING ENGR. MGR. – APPARATUS DIVISION (1982 – 1984)     Position reported to the General Manager.  Duties included the management of the Electrical, Mechanical, Industrial and Software Engineering departments as they related to the high volume manufacturing of hard disk drive subsystems and other computer products.

MANUFACTURING ENGINEERING MGR. – INSTRUMENTS DIVISION (1979 – 1982)     Position reported to the General Manager, with the principal responsibility for the high volume manufacturing of printed circuit boards (PCBs).  Additional duties included the managing of the Electrical, Mechanical and Industrial Engineering departments.
